The Writers Guild of America has been on strike since May 2.
, the studio heads -- Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav, Disney chief Bob Iger, Netflix co-chief Ted Sarandos, and NBCUniversal studio chairman Donna Langley -- were no longer in the room with negotiators on Saturday afternoon, according to a source.
The source told the cable news network that the studio heads remained engaged despite not being in the negotiating room on Saturday, signaling that nearly all of the major issues have been resolved.
