On Wednesday, Vermont Sen. Peter Welch became the first Democratic senator to publicly call for President Joe Biden to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.
Welch's call is the most prominent yet to underscore doubts about President Biden's ability to secure a win. "Donald Trump is on track, I think, to win this election, and maybe win it by a landslide, and take with him the Senate and the House," Bennett said in an interview with CNN's Kaitlan Collins.
