It will be a very modern school
Planning permission for a complete rebuild of an aging college site has been approved. Broxtowe Borough Council has given the go-head for new buildings at Bramcote College.
The project is being created to the highest standards, with sustainability and efficiency in mind, and will allow purpose-built facilities for students in all subjects. This will include science labs, technology rooms, performance spaces and sports facilities.The construction of the new college buildings and demolition of the current ones will be carried out by Morgan Sindall, a UK leader in the construction of educational facilities.
"We look forward to seeing the new school take shape." Heidi Gale, Headteacher at Bramcote College, added: "This is such exciting news for our school.
