Vandals smashed the window of a sneaker shop in Nottingham with a fire extinguisher just 24 hours after a nearby tea shop was targeted. The front window of OFFseason in Bridlesmith Gate was vandalised by a group of three people at 2.30am on Sunday, March 10. CCTV shows the young people damaging the front window using the fire extinguisher before running off. Bird and Blend Tea Co, just eight shops away from OFFseason, also had their front window smashed in the early hours of Saturday, March 9.
However, security footage from the tea shop does not show clearly whether the same people were involved in both incidents. Jack Montgomery, 20, who manages OFFseason said: "For us, it's not the end of the world and we're trying to make the best of a bad situation. "We would be happy to reach out to the kids because they only do that if they're acting out - they're only kids and we didn't make a loss."
