A designer, an avid traveler, and a philanthropist with a passion for women’s advocacy who empowers artisans and craftspeople in rural communities around the world : Please meetFor the past 20 years, Johnson has been the go-to for working women who want to buy a dress, top, pants, and all the in-between and not worry about it being not trendy anymore.
I am half Serbian and used to go to Dubrovnik, Croatia, on vacation. On a trip I bought myself a pair of gold filigree earrings with pearls. And the last piece of jewelry I bought myself is a Victorian lace gold choker from the 1870s. I love antique jewelry because of the life it’s had before it got to me.with a bloodstone on its face. Inside, it opens up to a threefold, which is unusual as most lockets open to twofold only. I have my kids’ photos inside.I have many people who I admire.
I am obsessed with padparadscha sapphires. They are one of the rarest sapphires in the world, and they are this salmon pink in color! Really amazing. I also love the Art Deco jeweler René Boivin, and this fish-scale bracelet watch is a dream piece!, I like to buy crafty shells or search for artisan markets or collectives. I love finding these special and local craftsmen and working with them.I am a serial monogamist with my jewelry! I change them up all the time.
