The 42-year-old played professional football for Wigan Athletic and MK Dons before becoming a football scout and sporting director for numerous clubs. He has worked for Tottenham Hotspur, RB Leipzig and, most recently, Monaco.
At RB Leipzig, Mitchell agreed a deal with Dinamo Zagreb for Olmo. The versatile attacker has 26 goals and 30 assists in 128 Leipzig matches. Mitchell signed Embolo for Monaco in 2022 after the Swiss star rose to prominence at Borussia Monchengladbach. Embolo's speed, strength and height have always made him a difficult customer for opposing defenders.
Upamecano thrived in Leipzig's back-three system and became one of the most sought-after central defenders in Europe. His desire to storm out from the back and be progressive on the ball has earnt him many plaudits. The Wolves man is not an obvious choice for United but he could be available for a fairly respectable fee if the club are relegated to the Championship.
