Depending on the county, 1 to 4 inches of snow could fall around central Pennsylvania heading into the weekend.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for most counties in the central Pa. region from Thursday evening until Friday morning. Southwestern counties in the central region are expected to be hit by the storm first, with the advisory starting for Franklin, Perry, Cumberland and Adams counties at 5 p.m. and ending at 4 a.m.
The rest of the region’s advisory begins at 7 p.m. and lasts until 6 a.m., including for Dauphin, Lebanon, York and Lancaster counties.
