Antonio Guterres calls for more aid to Gaza and warns against further military action
The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for increased aid to Gaza , describing the situation as a moral outrage. He warned against further military action , stating that it would worsen the situation for Palestinian civilians and the region as a whole. Guterres made these remarks at the Egyptian border near Rafah, where Israel plans to launch a ground assault.
He also expressed disappointment over the UN Security Council's failure to agree on a resolution for an immediate ceasefire
