The individual, dubbed 'Umbrella Man' on social media, was a member of a white supremacist group with intentions to stoke racial tension, police confirmed Tuesday.

An investigation found that he was a member of Hell's Angels who “wanted to sow discord and racial unrest by breaking out the windows and writing what he did on the double red doors," per the affidavit. The investigation found that he also had affiliations with the Aryan Cowboy Brotherhood, a white supremacist gang based primarily in Minnesota and Kentucky, according to the Anti-Defamation League.Derek Chauvin
pinned Floyd to the ground, pressing his knee into Floyd's neck for over eight minutes despite Floyd repeatedly telling officers he could not breathe. He faces charges of second-degree and third-degree murder, as well as manslaughter. Minneapolis police identified the 32-year-old suspect through a tip emailed last week, but have not released the identity of the individual due to an open investigation.
