Will Addison is the only member of last week’s back three retained, with Dan McFarland omitting Robert Baloucoune and Jacob Stockdale

Ulster travel to face Connacht at The Sportsground on Saturday evening in the first inter-provincial clash of the new URC season.

Dave Shanahan and Jake Flannery replace Nathan Doak and Billy Burns in the half-back line. Stewart Moore partners James Hume in midfield in place of Jude Postlethwaite, who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Denis Buckley, Dylan Tierney-Martin and Jack Aungier start in the front row for the third game on the spin, with Joe Joyce partnering Dowling in the second row.

Diarmuid Kilgallen and Byron Ralston start on the wings with veteran full-back Tiernan O’Halloran set to win his 224th cap for the Westerners this evening. Ross Molony and Jason Jenkins line-out in an unchanged second row, with Leinster’s only change to last week’s side coming in the back row. James Culhane has been given the number 8 berth, with Max Deegan moving to 6 and Scott Penny remaining at 7.

Craig Casey and Jack Crowley both return to the matchday 23 for Munster’s home clash with Dragons at Musgrave Park this evening .
