No holding back!
Fury didn’t hold back in his assessment of Matchroom Boxing Tyson Fury has launched another incredible put-down of Eddie Hearn on the eve of his cross-over fight against Francis Ngannou this weekend. Fury, who has long had an axe to grind over Matchroom Boxing and its star promoter, took aim at their clan by insisting the only time they can generate publicity is when a Battle of Britain showdown clash with Anthony Joshua is mooted.
That claim has been dismissed by Hearn, however, who insists any suggestion that Joshua rejected the fight with Fury is ‘nonsense.’ Fury added: ‘I’m not sure who is going to give us the £100m each. Who is going to pay it. Eddie Hearn hasn’t got it. Eddie Hearn ain’t got it. ‘Eddie Hearn ain’t got 20per cent of that. So, who is going to pay us the £100m each? If he does know someone who is going to give us £100m each then give us a call.
