Tyler Posey sparks Teen Wolf speculation with a playful Instagram post. Posey led a long-awaited revival of the popular supernatural drama earlier this year, returning for Teen Wolf: The Movie and reprising his role as Scott McCall. The film, written by series creator Jeff Davis, brought back many of the show's cast. Though it was met with a divisive response due to some controversial storytelling choices, the Paramount+ movie left the door wide open for sequels and further spinoffs.

What The Future Of Teen Wolf Could Look Like Although nothing has been confirmed regarding the future of Teen Wolf, there are several paths to a potential spinoff. Teen Wolf: The Movie ends with a shot of Eli Hale, the son of Derek, looking determined. It's focused on in a way that suggests the newcomer could lead the franchise moving forward.
So far, there have been no reports that Teen Wolf will be back in any way. However, as studios and streaming services continue to turn to brand names and established franchises, it wouldn't be too much of a shock to see Posey reprise his role.
