Two teenagers were stabbed outside a college today. The incident happened this afternoon on Ashton Old Road, Openshaw, near the Manchester College campus.

Today police issued an urgent appeal for information. Police attended Ashton Old Road, Openshaw, at around 12:50pm to reports of a disturbance. This incident is believed to have occurred on Herne Street in Openshaw. "The offender is described as a young Asian or Indian male in dark clothing with two braids in his hair. The two young males were stabbed, both sustaining serious injuries, and were taken to hospital.
