Both people are in good condition, a release said.
Members of the U.S. Coast Guard rescued two people Friday night after their sailboat grounded and overturned near Little Egg Inlet, the maritime border that separates southern Ocean County and northeastern Atlantic County, officials said Saturday.
A helicopter crew from the Coast Guard’s Atlantic City air station and rescue boat crews responded to the scene and located both people on the boat, which had run aground, a release said. The aircrew hoisted the people, due to the boat’s shallow waters.
