Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust and Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre each received £5000
Two Lanarkshire charities have each received a £5000 funding boost from Scotmid’s Community Connect initiative - while another has now been shortlisted for its next round.

Based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre is “dedicated to alleviating the distress and improving the welfare of women and girls aged over 12 who have been affected by any form of sexual violence or abuse”.
