Vyacheslav Gladkov said several villages had come under attack by Ukrainian armed forces . Sky News has not independently verified the claim. Russia earlier said it killed 195 Ukrainian troops and destroyed five tanks while repelling an attempted Ukrainian cross-border incursion into Belgorod.
It comes as Ukraine-based groups of anti-Kremlin Russian fighters warn citizens in Belgorod and Kursk to evacuate over 'massive' planned strikes (see 11.30 post)
