Surveillance video from inside the gas station store shows Williams leave the store and walk towards the intersection of Bonnie View Road and Simpson Stuart Road. As a car drives through the intersection, a person leans out of the passenger side and fires a weapon at Williams, striking him once in the left chest, the affidavit says.
Officers located the vehicle, a blue Honda Accord, near a residence April 3 in Cedar Hill. Police said officers conducting surveillance of the vehicle saw Littles exit the residence and take pictures of himself with a handgun. Littles drove away from the residence with Wilhite in a Ford Fusion. Littles and Wilhite were taken into custody and warrants were prepared to search the two vehicles. Authorities found two handguns, which matched bullet cartridges recovered at the scene of the slaying, police said.A few weeks later, two witnesses told police April 28 Wilhite and Littles were involved in a shootout prior to March 31 at the same gas station while purchasing fuel.
The witness told police she believes Littles and Wilhite shot the wrong person, after they looked at a photo of Williams following the slaying and said, “That’s not him but it looks kind of like him.” According to the affidavit, the witness said Wilhite drove the Honda Accord and Littles was in the passenger seat, but continually stated both suspects claimed to have shot Williams.
