The travel provider has issued important advice to holidaymakers 🚨
Holidaymakers heading to Glasgow Airport are being urged by the airline to arrive not too early to check-in after a summer as it can cause queues to build up and risk delays.
In recent months, airports across the UK felt the pressure as thousands of jet setters got ready for their summer holiday - the first holiday since the pandemic for many - and large queues, delays and missed flights were seen.On top of that, airlines including easyJet and British Airways struggled with staff shortages and flights were cancelled as a response. While the peak summer rush has now passed, it won't be long until the October half-term break will arrive.

In a statement on its website, TUI said "We’d like to remind customers not to arrive at the airport too far in advance of their flight, as this can contribute to terminal queueing delays. Standard check-in opens at least two and a half hours before departure time for short and mid-haul flights, and at least three and a half hours before departure for long-haul flights.
"At some airports, we are able to offer day before bag drop and self-service bag drop. You can find more information about these services, as well as our advice for making your airport experience as smooth as possible here.
