Terry Lee Sellers, 30, was identified as the bicyclist killed in a crash with an ambulance early Wednesday morning in Tucson.just before 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday to reports of a collision, according to the police statement.
Sellers then exited onto Craycroft Road when he was struck by an ambulance headed southbound in the curb lane of Craycroft Road.The driver of the ambulance immediately stopped after the collision and cooperated with investigators. An officer from the Impaired Driver Enforcement Unit then responded to the scene and determined that the driver had not been impaired at the time of the collision, according to the police statement.
However, Sellers' bike did have a white light on the front of his bike as well as a red light to the rear, but it is unknown if those lights were on prior to the collision, according to the police statement.
