President Trump will sign an executive order today that calls on federal agencies to purchase “essential drugs” and medical supplies made in the U.S., rather than from overseas companies who now provide the bulk of those materials

Navarro argued the efforts to speed FDA approval or clearance will not cut corners that could jeopardize safety, saying “we simply want a more rational and streamlined regulatory process.
