WASHINGTON — It’s only a week old, but President Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. forces from northern Syria to make way for Turkey’s military operation in the area is already a foreign policy disaster.
The American forces who have worked alongside with the Kurds feel the United States betrayed its allies. “[I]f we don't keep the pressure on, then ISIS will resurge. It's, it’s absolutely a given that they will come back.”
