The National Guard will begin withdrawing troops from Washington, DC, after ramping up its presence during protests

In his tweet, Trump said the troops could go home because "fewer protesters showed up last night than anticipated." Floyd, a black man, died after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for several minutes.
