Kieran Trippier has signed a contract extension with Newcastle NUFC
The England right-back was the Magpies’ first signing made by the club’s new owners just over a year ago and now has a deal that runs until 2025.arrived from Atletico Madrid and has been exceptional for the club as they have gone from Premier League struggles to top-four contenders.
Under manager Eddie Howe, he has helped the club keep 16 clean sheets across all competitions this season.as Newcastle fight for Champions League qualificationTrippier said: “I’m absolutely delighted that I’ve extended my contract here. I’ve got a lot of thank yous to make to the manager, owners, fans and my teammates.
“When I first arrived here, they made me feel so welcome and I want to help the club achieve great things. It’s a positive moment for us players in the club and there’s no place I’d rather be.”
