Brave Space Alliance had $3.3 million in total revenue in 2021, according to the organization’s annual report.
“I pushed our organization through pandemic years, and we got over a hump,” Wade said. “ some things that I should have learned and should have had some support learning. But I’m proud of where I left the organization.” Wade, 35, noted that she was in her late 20s when she founded Brave Space Alliance, and she said she “could have learned to manage a little better.”Chicago Tribune editors' top story picks, delivered to your inbox each afternoon.She added that the organization grew rapidly. At one point early in the pandemic, she said, Brave Space Alliance went from a $300,000 budget to a multimillion-dollar budget in a matter of six months.
