Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield severely reduced

Engineering works are expected to last from Saturday, March 16, to next Sunday, March 24

Trains between Manchester and Sheffield will run on a reduced service from today due to planned engineering works.

Rail replacement buses between Stockport, Dore & Totley and Sheffield will also be in place from Monday to Friday at morning peak time only.The engineering works are expected to last from today, March 16 to next Sunday, March 24. On the TransPennine website, it reads: “From Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 March, engineering work will affect train services that run between Manchester and Sheffield.
