Micky van de Ven is unlikely to have suffered a serious injury but is expected to miss Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming match against Fulham this Saturday, boss Ange Postecoglou has said. The Netherlands international was substituted off in the 49th minute of ’s four-goal victory away at last Sunday with what appeared to be a hamstring problem. He was also included in his nation’s provisional squad for their upcoming fixtures against on March 22 and Germany four days later.
Van de Ven, 22, missed two months of action between November and January with a hamstring injury. He also had a similar issue while playing at former club , being sidelined between February and April 2022. Tottenham travel to in their final match before the March international break, and Postecoglou is confident the centre-back won’t be out for a significant period of time. “We are still getting all the information on him, but he’s unlikely to be back this weekend,” Postecoglou told Sky Sports on Wednesda
