With Francis Ngannou having left the UFC he has countless options, but Tony Bellew has said he should not take up boxing.was offered a deal that would’ve made him the highest-paid heavyweight in the history of the company, but he turned it down and so the UFC had no choice but to release him.As such, Ngannou must now decide whether to join another MMA organisation or to take up a different combat sports discipline altogether, such as boxing.
MMA journalist, Ariel Helwani, published a poll on his Twitter asking fans whether they would prefer to see Ngannou join Bellator, PFL, BKFC or boxing and it was the latter that came out on top. This was when former cruiserweight world champion, Bellew, chimed in and tweeted in reply: “Terrible shame!“He’s the best MMA heavyweight in the world right now and he needs to stay within his discipline.”
With that being said, one of the most lucrative options out there for Ngannou is a clash with current WBC heavyweight champion,Terrible shame!
