Tommy Doyle will complete a permanent transfer to Wolves from Manchester City for £4.3m in July.
The midfielder moved to Molineux on loan last summer and the club have now triggered the option to buy him, with the switch to be finalised on 1 July.Doyle, who won the 2023 European Under-21s Championship with England last summer, has signed a four-year deal at Wolves.
Sporting director Matt Hobbs said: “We’ve never seen Tommy as a player on loan, and he hasn’t acted like one. “If you look at the type of players we like to sign as a football club, they generally haven’t reached their ceiling yet and have loads more to come.
