Actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have tested positive for the coronavirus
Hanks, who has been filming the upcoming Elvis Presley biopic in Australia, posted about the diagnosis on in an Instagram caption that accompanied a photo of a rubber glove in a trash can.
"Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches," he wrote."Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive."star explained that the couple are following every medical protocol they can.

Hanks and Wilson have been in Australia filming an untitled Elvis Presley film from Warner Bros being directed by Baz Luhrmann, according to Deadline. The announcement comes after the infectious disease, known as COVID-19, has spread to more than 124,000 people and claims more than 4,000 lives. The World Health Organization on Wednesday declared the outbreak a pandemic, after it spread to more than 100 countries. The news of Hanks and Wilson's diagnosis comes as the NBA's Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, was recently diagnosed with the virus, according to ESPN, representing some of the highest-profile people infected with the illness.
