Actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have tested positive for the coronavirus, Hanks confirmed via Instagram Wednesday.
The actors were in Austrailia for the pre-production of Baz Luhrmann's currently untitled Elvis Presley film from Warner Bros. Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks attend the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 05, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California.
"Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks' will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?"Both Hanks and Wilson are 63. Coronaviruses are part of a large family of viruses that can cause illness in humans and animals. Symptoms of the COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.
