1. I'm devastated by the loss of Adam Schlesinger to coronavirus. Adam was a wonderful person, funny, smart, gentle and kind. I loved working with him over this past quarter century. I met him when I was at Mercury & we did a label deal for his eclectic indie, Scratchie Records.2. But then I was blessed to have Adam on S-Curve, where his band Fountains of Wayne released the classic single "Stacy's Mom." What a perfect pop record that was.3. Adam came back to S-Curve years later with his fabulous "supergroup" Tinted Windows, another record filled with timeless pop.
