Tom Daley welcomes surprise baby with his husband and shares adorable name
The Olympic diver has welcomed the tot, sweetly named Phoenix Rose, with his husband Dustin. The couple shared the news with fans on Wednesday, as the happy announcement was made in The Times.
The happy couple, who first met in 2013 and tied the knot in 2017, welcomed their first child - Robert Ray - together via surrogacy in 2018. "I worried I was in real trouble from the first moment we spoke. I was right. Thank you Tom for all of your love, patience, and encouragement, for building our family together, and for all of the many adventures past and yet to come."
At the time, Tom previously revealed that in the UK, both surrogates and parents are not afforded the same legal rights - something which turned him off trying to go ahead with the process in his own country.
