TikTok chief executive Shou Zi Chew is scheduled to testify at a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on March 23, the panel said in a statement on Monday. U.S. lawmakers have been concerned with issues including alleged sharing of American users’ data with China. The app is owned by ByteDance Ltd.
