Thundercat and Lacy wore matching bedazzled Loewe sweaters for a recent performance, and “they weighed about 1,000 pounds,” says to Thundercat.
Thundercat performed in a yellow version of the very same blue sweater that Lacy wore, both of which they pulled from Lacy’s personal closet. “They weighed about 1,000 pounds,” Thundercat says following the performance. Their decision to match only underlies their intertwined artistic sensibilities.
“We both share the same mind about things a bit creatively, and like to share that space together,” Thundercat says. “It’s not something you can do comfortably with everyone, but me and Steve love it. It’s like the fusion dance in—synchronicity mentally, instrumentally, spiritually, energetically, and aesthetically,” he continues. “ And we both are pretty heavy on the fashion hand.”
