Daisy Welsh knew she didn't have a lot of money to spend after he husband proposed and then she noticed other brides talking online.
A thrifty Scots bride-to-be found her dream wedding dress in a charity shop for £340 - and is encouraging others to do the same.
Unsure what to expect, Daisy made her way to the shop - where she tried on eight gowns before saying yes to her dress. "I had a look online at some websites that sold dresses, but then I saw posts in bride-to-be groups on Facebook."There were so many good reviews, so I thought, 'why not?' I can get a dress and give money to charity!
After entering through the main charity shop to the bridal section at the back, Daisy was stunned at the selection - with the most expensive dress in the shop costing just £390. Daisy paid £340 for her dress, and also picked up a belt for £40 and a veil for £20 from the same shop.
