Three teenagers have been charged following reported robberies at a tram stop in Oldham, police say. Police issued an appeal earlier this week regarding alleged 'knifepoint' robberies at Failsworth tram stop and have now charged three teenagers.
They say the three were arrested earlier this week in connection with the reported robberies, with the three now charged with robbery. The trio cannot be named for legal reasons. A GMP Oldham spokesman said: "Following reports of robberies at the Failsworth tram stop and subsequent arrests this week, three teenage males, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged for robbery in relation these incidents."Thank you to the public for sharing and giving information."
