The PSNI have said three teenage girls they wanted to speak to as part of the investigation into missing Lisburn woman Paula Elliott have come forward, but have been unable to provide any information. Police had issued a specific appeal on Monday for the three teenagers who were believed to have been in the area where 52-year-old Paula was last seen near the Lagan Towpath in Lisburn. However, after the teens coming forward the PSNI has now said it is no further forward in its attempts to locate Paula.

However, after the teens coming forward the PSNI has now said it is no further forward in its attempts to locate Paula. Providing further details on the search to find Paula, which has entered its third week, the PSNI said it has used boats, divers and dog units, as well as experts from the Community Rescue Service. "Since Tuesday, 5th March, an extensive search has been carried out of the Lisburn and Lagan Towpath areas, utilising multiple search assets including boats, divers and dog units, as we continue to search for missing person Paula Elliott," a statement provided to Belfast Live said. "The complex search has been managed by a police search co-ordinator, and has also benefitted from the expertise of volunteers at Community Search and Rescue.
