EXCLUSIVE: Three ‘fresh and simple’ foods the Queen will eat over Jubilee, says Jennie Bond
The Queen has the best chefs in all the land but she isn’t taking any risks ahead of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the weekend.
Typically, the Queen enjoys more indulgent dining cooked up by her team of talented chefs at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle who cater for her personally. However, Jennie says she is currently avoiding anything lavish - like she does when she goes on her royal tours around the world - and is instead prioritising a safe menu that is good for her gut.
Her mobility issues forced her to pull out of the State Opening of Parliament earlier this month for the third time only in her reign.
