Police responded about 10:25 p.m. on Monday to the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way in Antioch.
ANTIOCH — Two men and one woman died Monday night when one vehicle hit another, then ran off the road and hit a tree, police said.
Authorities did not identify the three people early Tuesday, pending notification of their next of kin. The three people were not related to each other, authorities said. Officers responded to the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way about 10:25 p.m. and found all three of the car’s occupants with major injuries, according to a statement from Antioch police. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver of the vehicle with the three occupants was speeding east on Lone Tree Way and hit another vehicle and lost control, police said. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
