More than half a million people could miss out on a £150 cash boost from the DWP if they don't act soon
Hundreds of thousands of people across the UK could be entitled to £150 in financial support from the Government - but need to act fast to claim it.
"The Government has put extra money aside for older people who are struggling to make ends meet, enough to make a real difference, but to get it you have to claim Pension Credit – and well over half a million pensioners are missing out just because they haven't claimed it.READ MORE: UK households could see £3,500 wiped from bank accounts
If your electricity supplier is part of the Warm Home Discount scheme, then you'll get the payment automatically if you or your partner receive the Guarantee Credit portion of Pension Credit. The eligibility requirements for Warm Home Discount changed last winter, Age UK warns.
