HMRC has started contacting older people who may have been underpaid their State Pension due to missing information on their National Insurance records. Women in their 60s and 70s who may have Home Responsibilities Protection (HRP) missing are among those most affected. HMRC is working with DWP to correct the records.
HM Revenue and Customs ( HMRC ) has started writing to thousands of older people who may have been underpaid their State Pension due to missing information on their National Insurance records. Women in their 60s and 70s who may have Home Responsibilities Protection (HRP) missing are among those most affected.
HMRC is working with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to find those affected and correct their records.
