But then he led drives of 75, 77, 91 and 90 yards to give UCLA a 28-10 halftime lead that grew to 35-10 on his 4-yard run in the third quarter.
"I didn’t personally have any doubt," Thompson-Robinson said. "For me, it was really easy. I just had to put and read my keys. We knew what we were going to get, and we got what we expected." Wide receiver-turned-running back Kazmeir Allen had 137 yards rushing, including a touchdown, and 63 more receiving for UCLA.
