An inquest into the death of Thomas Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella Kingston, has heard how he died from a 'head wound'
Thomas Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella Kingston, died from a “traumatic head wound” at his parent’s home in the Cotswolds, an inquest opening at Gloucestershire Coroner’s Court heard.
His father returned to find that he was no longer in the house. After his mother went out to look for him, Martin forced entry into an outbuilding, where he discovered his son dead.Speaking at an inquest into his death at Gloucestershire Coroner’s Court, senior coroner Katy Skerrett said: “Mr Kingston was visiting his parents’ home in the Cotswolds.
The Coroner added that Thomas's provisional cause of death has been declared as "a traumatic wound to the head.” "In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and to all the Kingston family." Thomas was regularly praised for his work and tact. The Reverend Canon Andrew White, who for more than 10 years presided over the only Anglican church in Iraq and knew Thomas personally previously told the Mail that Thomas was "an exceptional young man" who "makes things happen" and whose greatest strength was to "see beyond the impossible".
