From rock performances to DJs, electronic music and chamber music, there’s something for everyone this weekend in Anchorage.
With a week left before the Thanksgiving break, this weekend offers a number of auditory options. Alaska musicians will be featured at local bars and clubs as well as at various fine arts venues throughout Anchorage.A pair of Alaska bands hit the stage at Williwaw on Friday with Blackwater Railroad and Wiley Post. Advance tickets are $15 and $20 at the door.
This 2nd-annual event is a celebration of Black excellence and culture and not meant to be a costume party. There is dancing, fashion, speakers including Calvin Martyr from The Blackout Coalition and entertainment from Mayanna Cash. General admission is $50 with other seating and table options available.This annual party is a great opportunity for putting on your favorite all-white outfit.
