While focusing their telescope lens, reddit user CallMeCurious found a very sleepy fox in his viewfinder.
Fellow Reddit users were blown away by the footage, and chimed in on the incredible moment captured."I think it's the cutest thing in the world when animals take little naps while sitting up like this," one fan gushed."Seriously mesmerizing," another added.Several fans thought that the fox wasn't real until it started moving."The eyes looked glassy and fake until they moved and it just turns out he's a sleepy fox," one noted.
User CallMeCurious estimated that the fox was about 50 meters away from him. They also shared that they've been using their Celestron Power Seeker 127EQ telescope since self-isolating because of the coronavirus pandemic."It's a new quarantine hobby I've picked up! Managed to see Venus, a close up of the moon, Starlink satellites and the Lyrid meteor shower in about two weeks!" they wrote.
