Alison Hammond was missing from ITV's This Morning today , with her co-star Josie Gibson filling in for her alongside Dermot O'Leary. Josie, 39, has been at the helm of This Morning throughout the week, hosting alongside Craig Doyle.
Josie kicked off by wishing a happy International Women's Day to some special ladies, starting with: "Firstly, I think we have to start with Alison Hammond. So Alison Hammond - happy International Women's day to you." Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment on Alison's absence. "Where is Alison today, it's usually her and Dermot?" one viewer wrote. Meanwhile another viewer said: "Durrrmot and Josie? Really?"
Fred, who is known for his role on First Dates, appeared on This Morning on Wednesday and Craig Doyle, 53, said the atmosphere between them was a bit tense. "It's so awkward in here at the moment I can't cope. My toes are curling," he said before Josie cleared things up.
