This app lets you talk to a doctor on a video chat
We learned a lot about teladocs during the pandemic. It's the only way a lot of people could talk to their medical professionals during COVID. . That's good if you don't have a primary care physician and you need some medical help or advice. The app provides you the cost of the visit up front, so you know what you're getting into if you don't have health insurance.
The video doctors can pretty much do what they'd do when they see you, after that long time in the waiting room at a real office. They also can learn your vitals through the phone's health kit. The app also works with mental health professionals, if you need that. There are psychiatrists and psychologists on the roster. Doctors can write prescriptions and send them to the pharmacy near where you are. Doctor on Demand is a free app on iTunes and Android. You pay for the medical services.
