Neil McGarvey, 47, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week after previously pleading guilty to stealing from two stores.
The 47-year-old entered M&S on Argyle Street on July 28 last year and stole £384 worth of beauty products.He also went into Tesco at St Enoch Square and stole £53 worth of toiletries, alcohol and coffee. He committed this theft whilst on bail on January 12, 2022.McGarvey’s lawyer said: “He’s got a really bad drug problem and has got a terrible record as a result. He’s in a much better situation now and is on methadone only. He is looking for some assistance.
