Surprisingly, though, there haven’t been too many roadside eats highlighted on the trek up to or near Lake Tahoe.
Jax at the Tracks was featured in season nine, episode seven of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” where Fieri meets owner Bud Haley, who still operates the restaurant to this day. Haley revamped the entire menu when he took over in 1995 and gave everything a more modern take on classic diner food, according to the. Another meatloaf option, which Fieri tastes in the episode, is a meatloaf made out of Kobe beef, often referred to as some of the best beef in the world.
