More cars than ever are surpassing the 200-mph mark, and they come in many different flavors. Here, we've gathered today's ten fastest production cars based on top speed. Before we begin, though, we must answer a question:"What really makes a production car?" That term might be up for debate, but for our purposes here, we're going to say that the company that makes the vehicle has to deliver at least 50 total cars per year.
Most impressive is the number of cars that can even top 200 mph. The"slowest" car on our list tops 215 mph, and there were at least 32 other cars to trip over 200 mph that we left on the cutting room floor in our quest for a clean list of ten.
